ABOUT Creamy Chicken RECIPE

It is very tasty and delicious. Chicken cooked in creamy yoghurt and in full cream milk.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken 500 grams
  2. Yogurt 1 cup
  3. Full cream milk 1/4 cup
  4. Green chillies 5
  5. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  6. Onion 1 big
  7. Ginger, garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  8. Cashew nuts 15
  9. Poppy seeds 1 teaspoon
  10. Whole garam masala
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Melted ghee 2 teaspoon
  13. Oil 4 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Clean and wash the chicken.
  2. Make a paste of onions and green chillies.
  3. Marinate the chicken with onion, green chilli paste, ginger, garlic paste, yogurt, melted ghee. Keep aside for about one hour.
  4. Soak the poppy seeds, cashew nuts in warm water for about 15 minutes.
  5. Drain the water and blend it to make a fine paste.
  6. Take a marinated chicken into a pan and cook till the chicken becomes tender. It takes 15-18 minutes.
  7. Remove from flame and keep aside.
  8. Heat a pan with oil in this add whole garam masala ( cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, cardamom) and cashew, poppy seeds paste and saute it for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Now add the creamy yogurt mixture, garam masala, salt and saute it for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
  10. Now add cooked chicken and mix it well and cook it for 3 minutes.
  11. Now add hot milk and remove from flame and mix it well.
  12. Serve with hot rice, pulao or any Indian bread.
