ABOUT Vegetable pohe RECIPE

This is a quick and healthy recipe for kids full of colorful vegetables.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Flattened rice/Pohe-4 cups
  2. Onions-1(finely chopped)
  3. Potato-1/4 cup
  4. Green peas-1/4 cup
  5. Carrots-1/4 cup
  6. Peanuts-2 tbsp
  7. Green Chilli-1
  8. Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
  9. Fennel seeds-1/2 tsp
  10. oil-1 tbsp
  11. Salt
  12. Turmeric-1/2 tsp
  13. Lemon Juice-1 tbsp
  14. Sugar-1 tbsp
  15. Coriander-1 tbsp
  16. Sev for toping

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak pohe for 5 minutes.Drain water and keep pohe aside.
  2. Prepare all chopped vegetables.
  3. Take a pan.Add oil.Fry the peanuts and keep aside.
  4. As oil heats add mustard seeds and fennel seeds.
  5. Add chopped onions and green chillies.
  6. Then add all vegetables.Add salt .Mix and cover.Cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
  7. When the vegetables are cooked add pohe, salt,turmeric.
  8. Mix properly.Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  9. Add lemon juice and sugar.Mix and cook for a minute again.
  10. Sprinkle chopped coriander and serve toped with sev.
