ABOUT Cheesy Crunchy Thepla Sandwich RECIPE

This is my new innovation to normal gujarati methi thepla! If you would make the sandwich like this using theplas, kids would really love it! You could serve it in snacks or dinner! It's very tempting, is it?

  1. To make methi thepla:
  2. 1/4 cup washed and chopped fenugreek leaves
  3. 1 cup whole wheat flour
  4. 1/2 tsp Salt
  5. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  6. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  7. Water to make soft dough
  8. To prepare sandwiches:
  9. 1/2 cup eggless mayonnaise and sandwich spread
  10. 1 cup green chutney
  11. 1 Cup Tomato Sauce
  12. 1 cup slices of tomatoes and cucumbers
  13. 3-4 cubes, grated processed cheese
  14. Chaat masala and naylon sev (optional)

Instructions

  1. How to make theplas:
  2. First mix all the ingredients of thepla in medium sized bowl and make a soft dough using water.
  3. Rest it for 15 mins.
  4. Now devide it into 8 equal portions.
  5. Roll two portions and saute them on both the sides by applying oil.
  6. Prepare other theplas using same method.
  7. How to make theplas sandwiches:
  8. Now take one thepla, apply mayonnaise, sandwich spread and green chuteny on it.
  9. Place tomato and cucumber slices on it.
  10. Top it with grated cheese and chaat masala.
  11. Now take one more thepla and apply tomato sauce on it, and place it on first thepla to make sandwich.
  12. Now on nonstick pan, apply butter and grill this sandwich on both the sides.
  13. Your thepla sandwich is ready, serve it hot immediately with sauce and green chuteny.
