ABOUT Aloo bhujia RECIPE

This quick and easy Aloo bhujia has a distinct taste& texture. Aloo bhujia is a bihari receipe. For a different taste we use mustard oil. You can serve this with khasta kachori, paratha & chappati as well.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Potato 4-5 medium sized
  2. Green chillies 4-5
  3. Garlic paste or minced
  4. Turmeric powder 2tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Methi saboot
  7. Hing
  8. Chilli powder
  9. Mustard Oil 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the potatoes as shown in picture. They are similar to finger chips.
  2. Cut the green chillies lengthwise.
  3. Heat kadahi well put oil add Methi, hing and green chillies.
  4. Add potatoes and stir for 2-3mins.
  5. Cover it and cook for 2-3mins.
  6. Open the lid & add turmeric powder, salt and chilli powder stir well.
  7. Again cover it & cook it for 3-4mins.
  8. For crispness open the lid and turn the flame on high and stir atleast 3-4mins.
  9. Now serve hot with paratha.
