This is a delightful, colorful and delicious idlis that can be made for children.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1cup suji
  2. 1cup curd
  3. 1pouch eno
  4. 1/3tsp salt
  5. A pinch green food colour
  6. A pinch orange food colour
  7. For tadka -
  8. 1tbsp Oil
  9. 1pcs onion
  10. 1pcs :tomato: tomato
  11. 1/2tsp red chilli powder
  12. 1/4tsp Turmeric powder
  13. 1/2tsp salt
  14. 2tbsp tomato ketchup

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl. Add Suji, salt, curd.mix well and take for rest 10 min.
  2. Then take a cooker on high flame. Put 1glass water in it .
  3. Add eno in Suji batter. Mix well.
  4. Add orange colour in some batter.
  5. Add green colour in some batter.
  6. You have three colours batter is ready now.
  7. Grease a idli stand. Put different different colour batter in it.
  8. Stand put in cooker.
  9. Lid the cooker without whistle on high flame.
  10. After 10min check the idli with the help of toothpick.
  11. Our idli is ready now.
  12. Take a pan.
  13. Add oil ,then oil is hot put in onion fry on low heat.
  14. Onion looks golden brown colour then add tomato and mix well.
  15. Then add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and tomato ketchup. Mix well
  16. Add idli pieces in puree . Mix smoothly.
  17. Our Tricolour Masala Idli is ready to serve with tomato ketchup.
