ABOUT Mango Rasayana. RECIPE

Mango is well known as king of fruits.Once mango season starts every cook prepares different mango dishes at their home .There are different types of mango .At village's, people prepare pickles ,rasam ,gojju,thokku,mambla(mango sheet) from wild mangoes.Here i prepared mango rasayana ,which is 'Dakshina Kannada' special food.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Mango......2(medium size)
  2. jaggery powder.....1 & 1/4 cup
  3. grated coconut......1big bowl
  4. black till(sesame seeds).....1 tbsp.
  5. cardamom powder.....3 pinch

Instructions

  1. Grind coconut and extract thick milk from it.4 cup of milk is required.
  2. Add jaggery powder to the coconut milk and mix it.
  3. Peel the mango skin out and cut the mangoes into small pieces.
  4. Add the mango pieces into the coconut milk mix.
  5. Add cardamom powder to the mix.
  6. Dry roast sesame and add it to the mix.
  7. rasayana is ready.serve with love.
