Kalakand is such a famous dessert in India, so this is an addition to this by making a mango flavored kalakand.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Milk 1litr
  2. lemon juice 1/2tbsp
  3. Milkmaid1/2cup
  4. mango pure 1/2 cup
  5. sugar 1/2cup
  6. Ilaichi powder as per taste
  7. saffron 5-6strands


  1. Boil half liter of the milk, and using the lemon juice, make chenna out of it.
  2. Boil and reduce the other half liter of milk, to about half.
  3. Then add chenna ,ilaichi powder, and saffron milk , cook it until the mixture is getting harder and has a consistency of burfi.
  4. Add mango puree and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add sugar and cook it untill it is ready to pour in the burfi mould.
  6. Pour and let it cool down for half an hour. Mango kalakand cake is ready:blush:
