Chickpeas kawab is very delicious snack . It's a gpod option for vegetarian to enjoy the kawabs .

Ingredients to make Chickpeas kawab

  • 4 -5 boiled potatoes
  • 1/4 cup boiled chickpeas (chole )
  • 2 - green chilli
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • some bread crumbs for binding
  • saute stick or icecream sticks
  • corinader leaves finely chopped
  • black salt as per taste

How to make Chickpeas kawab

  1. First drain all water from boiled chickpeas. Take a blender ,and put chickpeas ,ginger ,green chilli and grind coarsely.
  2. Take boiled potatoes , Mash it with hands or masher , add chickpeas , bread crumbs and all dry spices . Mix well . Add finely chopped corainder leaves .
  3. Now make oval or cylindrical shape kawabs with mixture and insert saute or icecream sticks in it .
  4. Deep fry these kawabs with sticks . Serve hot with chutney of your choice .

My Tip:

Soak saute stuck or icecream stick into the water for about 10 minutes . Then dry it and use in recipe This step is for preventing less oil absorbing by sticks .
