ABOUT Karela chana masala RECIPE

A delicious twist to the bitter karela [bitter gourds], a delicous chana curry to be served with roti or rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. ½kg karela
  2. 2 onions chopped
  3. Methi dana
  4. Soaked black chana
  5. Dried mango powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Cummin seeds powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  8. Turmeric Powder
  9. Salt
  10. Oil 4-5 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Cut karela into thin slices in vertical
  2. Wash them mostly take out the seeds
  3. Take kadai put oil
  4. When oil is hot ,add methi dana and onion, saute 3 minutes
  5. Add black chana and karela saute ,cover it
  6. And all masalas and salt ,cook on low flame with the lid on.
  7. Cook till crunchy
  8. Ready yummy kerela veggie is ready to be served.
