ABOUT "ALOO PARATHA' RECIPE

This is a designer aloo paratha with a generous filling of spiced potatoes.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 5 boiled potatoes (peeled and mashed),
  2. 2 finely chopped Onion's,
  3. 4 green chilies chopped,
  4. Handful of coriander leaves chopped
  5. Pinch of ajjwain, [carom seeds]
  6. Salt,
  7. 1 tsp roasted zeera, [cumin seeds]
  8. 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
  9. Bowlful of wheat flour,
  10. Oil or ghee as required

Instructions

  1. Take wheat flour in mixing bowl and knead a dough with help of water, keep aside for 10 min
  2. In other mixing bowl, mix all ingredients except wheat flour and oil .
  3. Mix nicely and keep aside .
  4. Now divide the dough into equal sized balls.
  5. Make two chapatti and keep aside, Take 1 chapatti and fill the stuffing in between, place the other on it . Press the edges nicely
  6. Make cuts on edges of chapatti, roll alternative part which are cut.
  7. heat a nonstick tawa, gently place the paratha on it. Roast nicely with help of oil or ghee.
