Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Paneer 500 gm
  2. Butter 250 gm
  3. Fresh cream 5 tsp
  4. Onion [pureed] - 3
  5. Green chilli 4-5 [ground into a paste]
  6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  7. Asafoetida - 1/4 th tsp
  8. Tejpatta 2-3
  9. Cinnamon - 1 inch
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  12. Milk 1 cup
  13. Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  14. Dhaniya [coriander] powder 2 tsp
  15. Water melon seeds 1 cup
  16. Water to use
  17. Kashoori methi 2 pinch

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan with some butter, add asafoetida, tejpatta, and cinnamon. Once they smell, add the onion, chilly paste and the ginger garlic paste. Saute until browned, while this is happening, soak the melon seeds in warm water and make a paste of the same.
  2. Add the melon seeds paste into the onion cooking in the pan, now add all the powdered masalas, along with some salt. cook until the masala leaves oil.
  3. Then add milk , kasuri methi and cook for few minutes, then add the paneer cubes and cook further.
  4. Finally add the cream and mix, serve with some coriander leaves garnished.
