ABOUT Chicken Bread Rolls RECIPE

Kids will always like chicken filled snacks..This is an easy and spicy snack.. Chicken Bread Roll is one the favorite kids evening snacks, which can be made in a lot of ways. Bread with chicken filling makes a mouthwatering snack. This is a perfect snack with afternoon tea or served as an appetizer. Bread Chicken Rolls are crunchy outside, spicy and soft inside. Chicken Bread Rolls can be fried as well as baked, depending upon the fat content required. It is a very easy to make recipe and can be tried by beginners as well. The outside crunchy and inside soft texture of the bread roll gives it a very scrumptious taste. Chicken Bread Roll are liked by children as well as but adults and tastes best when served with tomato ketchup or green chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. For filling:
  2. 1/2kg Boneless chicken
  3. 1 large Onion
  4. 5 cloves Garlic
  5. 1 small pc Ginger
  6. 1 Tomato
  7. 2 green Chillies
  8. 1/2tsp Red chilli powder
  9. 1/4tsp Turmeric powder
  10. 1/2tsp Coriader powder
  11. 1/2tsp Garam masala powder
  12. 1/4tsp Fennel seeds powder
  13. Salt
  14. Chopped coriander leaves
  15. Oil
  16. For Rolls:
  17. 15 pc White or Brown bread
  18. Cream cheese for spreading
  19. 2 Eggs Bread crumbs
  20. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Filling: Cook the chicken and shred it. In a pan pour little oil. Add the chopped onions and saute till transparent.
  2. Add ginger,garlic and chilly paste. Saute well and add the spice powders one by one and mix well. When the raw smell goes away add the chopped tomatoes.
  3. When the tomatoes are soft add the shredded chicken and mix well. Add salt as per taste and add the chopped coriander leaves. Fry it for another 2 mins and off the flame.
  4. For Making Rolls: Take each bread cut the 4 sides.Keep the sides for making bread crumbs. Now with a rolling pin roll the bread to thin.
  5. Spread some cream cheese on the bread and put 1 tbsp filling on this and roll the bread. Seal both side by pressing it well. Do the same with rest of the breads.
  6. Now beat 2 eggs in a bowl. In another bowl keep the bread crumbs. Now dip each roll in egg and then in bread crumbs and keep aside.
  7. Do this with all the rolls. Heat oil in a kadai and fry these rolls till crispy. Enjoy the chicken rolls.

m not an expert cook.. so I didnt get what u meant by 'cook the chicken'. i mean what to do with the chicken to cook?
