Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk - 2 cups
  2. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  3. Gelatin powder - 2 teaspoons
  4. Custard powder - 3 teaspoons
  5. Vanilla essence - 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Coco powder - 2tablespoon
  7. Mango pulp - 2 tablespoons
  8. Warm water - 1 • 5 teaspoon
  9. Ingredients For Making Caramel
  10. Sugar - 1 cup
  11. Water - 3 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. For making caramel ...... Add sugar and water in a small pan and heat on medium flame until it starts to turn light golden brown .
  2. Do not stir , once the sugar turns a light golden brown swivel the pot a little to let the colour even out .
  3. Pour immediately directly into a big mould or some small bowls and swirl the mould. It spreads to fill the base .
  4. For making pudding ....
  5. Pour the milk into a medium pot and sprinkle the gelatin powder over it . Let the gelatin soften a little .
  6. Add sugar and custard powder , stir to mix .
  7. Take 1/4 cup of Milk and coco powder and instant coffee powder and mix properly with a fork . Then pour this milk to the gelatin mixed milk .
  8. Add vanilla essence and mango puree into the milk and mix .
  9. Heat in low flame with a wooden spoon until the mixture thickens and stirring constantly .
  10. Pour the milk mixture through a strainer into mould over the hardened caramel and chill in the refrigerator until firm . It will take 3 - 4 hours .
  11. After 3 hours take out the flan from fridge .
  12. Serve and enjoy
