Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice -1cup
  2. Thoor Dhal-1/4cup
  3. Onion -50g
  4. curry leaves
  5. Mustard seeds 1/4teaspoon
  6. Oil -2tablespoon
  7. Red chilly -3
  8. Turmeric powder -1/4teaspoon
  9. Coconut -2tablespoon
  10. Sambar powder -1teaspoon
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and Soak rice 10 minutes
  2. Cut the onions, grate coconut
  3. Heat pressure cooker pure oil put mustard seeds.
  4. Add onion, garlic, curry leaves, chillys very well soute. Then add coconut. Put the rice and dal
  5. Add two cups water,turmeric powder, sambar powder, salt. When water boiling check the salt taste.
  6. Cover the lid put weight. One whistle sound enough. Take out of stove. Allow 10 minutes then open it and serve with ghee and pickle
