Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida...400gm
  2. Barley flour...100gm
  3. Fresh yeast....20gm
  4. Olive oil....40ml
  5. Salt....100gm
  6. Water....250ml
  7. Sugar....20 gm
  8. Mixed herb...10gm
  9. TOPPING......
  10. Chopped tomatoes ...3 tsp
  11. Green olives....3 tsp
  12. Black olives....3 tsp
  13. Tri colour capsicum... 3 tsp
  14. Olive oil...100 ml
  15. Mixed herb...1 tsp


  1. Take a mixing bowl. Add salt, sugar, yeast and water. Mix till sugar and yeast dissolves.
  2. Take another mixing bowl. Add maida, barley flour, oil and mixed herbs. Mix.
  3. Now add wet mix (no.2) to dry mix. Start kneading the dough.
  4. It will take around 10 minutes to get a proper and shiny dough if kneading it manually.
  5. Now cover the dough with moist cloth for 10 minutes.
  6. Roll the dough into thin rectangular shape.
  7. Take a greased tray. Place the rolled chapati on it.
  8. Knock it with thumb. Drizzle olive oil in it.
  9. Place topping(tomatoes, green olives, black olives, capsicum and mixed herbs) on it.
  10. Preheat oven at 230 degree. Bake for 15 minutes.
  11. When baked, drizzle olive oil on it.
  12. Focaccia bread is ready to rock the party.
