Ingredients to make Honey Apple pie

  • For pie:
  • all purpose flour- 180 gm
  • butter(unsalted)- 50 gm
  • sugar- 35 gm(ground)
  • egg- 1
  • Milk- 10 ml
  • For Filling:
  • Dabur honey- 3/4 cup
  • apple- 1 cut in small pieces
  • cinnamon powder- 1/2 tsp

How to make Honey Apple pie

  1. Pie method: In a mixing bowl, add all purpose flour, butter & ground sugar. Mix it very well.
  2. Beat an egg. Add half of it into the mixture. Mix it well. Mixture will be like bread crumbs.
  3. Now add milk & make a normal dough.
  4. Now wrap it with cling film & keep it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  5. For filling : In a pan add apple pieces & honey.
  6. Cook it for 6 to 7 minutes till apple becomes soft.
  7. Now take a small portion from dough.
  8. Flatten it.
  9. In muffin tin arrange like this way.
  10. Cut the extra part.
  11. Fill the honey apple mixture in it.
  12. Make and cut the strips with remaining dough.
  13. Do Criss cross pattern.
  14. Pre-heat the oven. Bake it at 180 degree for 25 minutes.
  15. Let it be cool on a wire rack.
  16. Sprinkle some cinnamon powder and serve it...

My Tip:

I have used Dabur Honey as it is organic and very pure and we normally use it.
