Apple Rabri pie

Ingredients to make Apple Rabri pie

  • For pie crust:-
  • 1 cup all purpose flour (Maida)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • salt a pinch
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • For Rabri:-
  • 1 litre full cream milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar or according to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped apple pieces
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachio and almonds
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • For topping:-
  • 2apple
  • 2tsp honey
  • 1tsp chopped pistachios

How to make Apple Rabri pie

  1. In a bowl sieve flour and salt.
  2. Add butter and mix it well like crumbled form mixture.
  3. Add milk and make a smooth dough.
  4. Roll it neither thick nor very thin.
  5. In pie mould or in any steel lid, spread the roll and prick it with fork so that it not rise up when baking.
  6. Bake it in tandoor by setting both heating roads on for 10 minutes.
  7. rabri making:-
  8. In a pan boil milk on medium flame till it reduces half .
  9. Add sugar,dry fruits . Mix it and cook it for 5 minutes.
  10. Let be completely cool it . Add thinly chopped apple and freeze it for 10 minutes.
  11. For caramelized apple:-
  12. Wash and cut thin apple slices.
  13. In a pan tossed the apple slices with honey for 2 minutes.
  14. Assembling pie:-
  15. Fill pie crust with rabri.
  16. Arrange Apple slices one by one on top of rabri.
  17. Sprinkle some chopped pistachio in center of pie.
