On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami ahealthy and nutrious Dhaniya Panjeeri are prepared. Honey lemon Panjeeri Sharbat is a twist made with the help of Panjeeri Powder.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1/2 cup of coriander seeds
  2. 1/4 cup of fennel seeds
  3. 1/4 cup powder sugar
  4. 1 tsp cardamom powder
  5. 1/4 cup ginger powder
  6. 1 tsp ghee
  7. For Sharbat
  8. 3 tbs honey
  9. 1 tbs lemon juice
  10. 1 tsp Salt
  11. Ice


  1. Heat a pan add ghee and coriander seeds an fennel seed roast for 1 minute.
  2. Cool it grind them till fine powder.
  3. Add ginger powder, cardamom powder and powder sugar and grind again. Panjeei is ready for prasad to serve.
  4. In a pan add 1 glass of water, ice 2 tbs of Panjeei powder, 3 tbs of honey, salt and lemon juice sever chilled.
