We all love potato fries.....here is a healthy version of fries.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 250 gms of yellow pumpkin.
  2. 4 tbsp of cornflour.
  3. 1 tbsp rice flour.
  4. 1 tbsp onion powder.
  5. 1 tbsp garlic powder.
  6. 1 tsp oregano.
  7. 1 tsp chilli powder.
  8. Salt to taste.
  9. Oil for frying.


  1. Peel the pumpkin, de-seed it , cut into 1/2 inch fries size.
  2. In a bowl mix the rice flour, cornflour , salt ,onion powder ,chilli powder ,garlic powder and oregano.
  3. Now add the pumpkin pieces into the mixture slowly and coat each one.
  4. Add very little water to the mixture. Mix properly to coat the pumpkin evenly.
  5. Meanwhile heat oil in a pan.
  6. Once heated lower the flame and start frying the pumpkin pieces till crispy and changed colour.
  7. Sprinkle a bit of garlic powder and oregano on top.
  8. Serve immediately with tomato ketchup. Enjoy.....!!! One more variation in fries.
