A yummy and delicious curry made with bhindis.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Lady finger/bhindi - 250 gms
  2. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  3. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  4. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  5. Amchur powder/dry mango powder - 1 tsp
  6. Fennel seeds powder/sauf powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Asafoetida/hing - a pinch
  8. Sliced onion - 1/2 cup
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Oil - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add coriander powder,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,amchur powder,sauf powder and one tbsp water and mix well
  2. Now stuffing is ready.
  3. Wash bhindi properly.
  4. Cut the edges of the bhindi on both sides,now cut them length wise from one side.
  5. Stuff the filling into the bhindi
  6. Heat oil in a pan.
  7. Add asafoetida and sliced onion.
  8. Saute for one mins and add stuffed bhindi.
  9. Sprinkle some stuffed spices and salt and cover it.
  10. Cook in a low flame.
  11. Stir in between.
  12. Serve hot with chapatis
