ABOUT Home Made Paneer RECIPE

The milk we use at home goes bad. Make paneer out of it. It is the best way to use up your curdled milk.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Milk 1 litre
  2. Vinegar or lime juice


  1. Heat the milk in a pan
  2. Bring to boil
  3. When it starts boiling add 2 to 3 tablespoons of vinegar to it.
  4. It starts curdling
  5. Let it cook for some more time until you can see a pale coloured liquid separating.
  6. Switch off gas
  7. Sieve the milk through a muslin cloth
  8. Collect the curdled milk.
  9. Make a wrap of the cloth and place it under a heavy object.
  10. Keep it for 1/2 an hour.
  11. Remove from the cloth and refrigerate for 1/2 an hour
  12. Take out and cut into pieces.
  13. Paneer is ready.
