Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2 Cup Peanut
  2. 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  3. Garlic 1 cloves
  4. 5 dry red Chili's
  5. Tamarind small lemon size
  6. Salt as per need
  7. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Dry roast 1/2 cup peanut on medium flame.
  2. Roast till the peanuts start to separate the skin and allow to cool.
  3. Transfer the peanuts to the blender
  4. Also add in small piece tamarind, garlic, coconut, red Chili's and salt to taste.
  5. Blend to smooth consistency adding required water.
  6. Heat a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, pinch of hing, dried red chilli and few curry leaves.allow the tempering to splutter.
  7. Finally, pour the tempering over peanut chutney and serve along with rice, idli or dosa.
