This tikki contains boiled Cauliflower, boiled Soya. Soaked Rice flakes are added for binding.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cauliflower florets 1/2 cup
  2. Soya granules 1/2 cup
  3. Rice flakes 1/2 cup
  4. Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  5. Ginger paste 1 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder 1 tsp / green chilli paste 1 tsp
  7. Coriander powder 1 tsp
  8. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  9. Coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tsp
  10. Sesame seeds roasted 1 tbsp
  11. Ajwain 1/2 tsp
  12. Salt 1 tsp ( to taste)
  13. Oil 2 tbsp
  14. Oil for shallow frying.

Instructions

  1. Wash and pressure cook Cauliflower florets for 4 whistles. ( depending upon size you chop.)
  2. Boil soya granules in 1 cup Water with salt for 3 minutes. Drain the water and keep aside.
  3. Wash Rice flakes properly and soak for some time.
  4. Drain, squeeze out water and take in a big plate.
  5. Add cauliflower and soya granules. Add all masala mentioned above.
  6. Add 2 tbsp oil. Grease your palm and make Tikkis of desired size.
  7. Shallow fry in nonstick pan.
  8. Flip over after one side is done.
  9. Your healthy Tikkis are done.
  10. Enjoy with Tomato ketchup and a glass of juice.
