Soya and spinach Tikkis

Ingredients to make Soya and spinach Tikkis

  • Soya Nuggets soaked and squeezed - 15-20
  • Washed and chopped spinach leaves - 150 grams
  • onion - 1 medium
  • ginger - 1 inch
  • green chilly -1
  • garlic cloves - 6
  • Bengal gram flour(Besan) - 4 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1teaspoon
  • red chilly powder - 1teaspoon
  • dhaniya powder - 1teaspoon
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • salt according to taste

How to make Soya and spinach Tikkis

  1. Add soya nuggets, ginger, chilly and garlic into chopper and chop everything nicely.
  2. Take soya mixture, spinach, Bengal gram powder and spices into a bowl, mix well
  3. Heat a non stick tawa and grease with olive oil.
  4. Make desirable tikkis with the mixture, shallow fry till golden and crispy on both sides.
  5. Tikkis are ready to be served with chutneys of your choice.

My Tip:

Lentil powder can also be used instead of bengal gram flour.
