ABOUT Mushroom methi RECIPE

Try this once and you will fall in love with it, this is a perfect dinner party dish that can be served with some naan or parathas on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. whole spices-
  2. 1 tez patta [bay leaf]
  3. 3-4 cloves
  4. 2 green cardamom
  5. 1 black cardamom
  6. 1 small piece of cinnamon
  7. 2 table spoon oil or butter
  8. 200 gms mushrooms
  9. 1/4 cup curd
  10. 1 big onion
  11. 6-7 cloves of garlic
  12. 1 small piece of ginger
  13. 2 tomatoes
  14. 1/2 cup methi leaves
  15. Salt according to taste
  16. 1 teaspoons coriander powder
  17. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli
  18. 1/4 teaspoons turmeric powder

Instructions

  1. Soak methi leaves in fresh water for 15-20minutes.Then wash again ,chopped it and keep aside.
  2. Make paste of onion ,ginger,garlic and tomato.
  3. Wash and cut mushrooms lenthwise.and mix it in whisk curd for merination.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and splutter all whole spices.add onion tomato paste and saute till it's raw smell disappeared.
  5. Then add salt ,red chilli, coriander powder,turmeric and mix well.saute for another 2 minutes.
  6. Now add methi leaves and marinated mashroom and some water in it.cover it and cook it till mixed well and water dries.
  7. Serve hot with chapati
