ABOUT Egg Curry RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 6 eggs, boiled and cut in halves
  2. 1 large sized onion, chopped
  3. 1 inch piece of ginger, minced
  4. 4 garlic cloves, minced
  5. 2 green chillies, slit
  6. 2 tbsp curd
  7. 1 tbsp fresh cream
  8. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  9. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tbsp kasoori methi
  11. 1 tsp garam masala
  12. 1/2 tbsp chaat masala
  13. 1 tbsp oil
  14. 250 ml water
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Few coriander leaves to garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. Make a paste of the following ingredients, onion, green chillies, ginger and garlic.
  2. Take a pan, add oil and saute the paste for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Take a small bowl, whisk the curd and cream in it together and pour it into the pan. Stir well.
  4. Then add the kasoori methi, garam masala, red chilli powder and salt together. Mix again then pour in the water and bring this mixture to a boil. Cook this for 10 minutes.
  5. Put the boiled eggs into the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves on top and serve it hot.
