Ingredients to make Roasted channa dal peda

  • 1 cup channa dal , which is dry roasted to releases the best aroma
  • 2 to 3 tblsp milk
  • 5 tblsp ghee( if required can add 1 more so that it is not dry and you get smooth textured peda) Green cardamom powder for garnishing
  • Half of condense milk tin ( 200gms)

How to make Roasted channa dal peda

  1. First of all roast the channa dal then grind the roasted channa dal into fine powder.
  2. In a non stick wok add ghee milk grinded powder .
  3. Fry it on medium flame till it becomes crumbly.
  4. Take it out of the flame and then put in the condensed milk . Mix well and make a smooth paste.
  5. Put it back on medium flame and cook till it starts leaving the pan sides . And look like shown in pic.
  6. Now let it cool so that you can pick it and give the peda shape. Sprinkle some green cardamom powder on each peda as garnish.
