ABOUT Veggie sweet rice noodles RECIPE

I added beetroot juice and carrot juice to make these colourful sweet rice noodles.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice flour-3 cups
  2. Beet root juice-1/2 cup
  3. Carrot juice-1/2 cup
  4. Sugar- 1/4 th cup for each flavour
  5. Hot water-1/2 cup
  6. Grated coconut- 1 tbsp
  7. Sugar- little to sprinkle
  8. Ghee-1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Boil carrot juice in 1 pan, beet root juice in 1 pan and hot water in 1 pan.
  2. When boiled, switch off the stove and add 1 cup of flour and sugar to each pan and make sticky dough. Add little oil/ ghee to the dough.
  3. In a pressing machine fill this with one colour dough and press into greased plates( with ghee)into your favourite shape.
  4. Pour 2 cups of water in rice cooker and place these idli plates/ any plates and close the lid and keep it in cooking mode.
  5. When the switch moves to keep warm mode, transfer these rice noodles to serving plate and garnish with grated coconut and sugar.
