Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maida 4 cups
  2. suji 1 tablespoon
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Ajawin 1 teaspoon
  5. Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Oil for deep frying and little for kneading dough
  7. Besan 1 tablespoon
  8. Amchur powder 2 teaspoon
  9. Red chilly powder 1 teaspoon
  10. Roasted Jeera powder 1 teaspoon
  11. Water for kneading dough

Instructions

  1. Dry roast besan till golden brown and add amchur powder, jeera powder, salt and red chilly powder
  2. In a mixing bowl take maida suji salt ajwain black pepper powder and 1 to 2 tablespoon of oil and mix well. Knead a tight dough and keep aside for some time.
  3. Roll 2 to 3 big chapaties
  4. Sprinkle sufficient besan mixture on one chapati and press lightly .
  5. Now keep another chapati over it and again sprinkle besan mixture and put another chapati over it
  6. Now make a bundle by rolling it lightly and cut it
  7. Press each roll with hand or with rolling pin
  8. Deep fry in hot oil,on low heat, till golden brown
  9. Ready to serve
