ABOUT Choco Chip Loaf Cake RECIPE

Choco Chip Loaf Cake is a very good teatime cake. The texture of the cake is soft and moist in nature. Addition of choco chips make the cake exotic in nature.It tastes really good when you get slight chocolaty taste along with the taste of vanilla in each bite.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All Purpose Flour/ Maida - 2 cups
  2. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  3. Vanilla Essence - 1 teaspoon
  4. Eggs - Large, 2 nos
  5. Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
  6. Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Butter - 1/2 cup, melted
  8. Refined Oil - 1/4 cup
  9. Milk - 2 tablespoon
  10. Milk Chocolate Chips - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven at 180 degree centigrade for 10 minutes. Take a loaf pan and line with butter paper.
  2. Sieve flour, salt and baking powder together. Keep it aside.
  3. In another bowl take melted butter and oil, add sugar into that and cream it.
  4. Next add eggs into the mixture one at a time. Whisk them well.
  5. Add vanilla essence to it and whisk again.
  6. Now fold the dry mixture in to the wet mixture using cut and fold technique.
  7. At this time add little milk to make the batter smooth.
  8. After that fold the chocolate chips into the mixture and pour the batter in the prepared pan.
  9. Bake it for 35 to 40 minutes in a preheated oven.
  10. After cooling take out the loaf from the mould, then cut and serve.
