Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. American corn 1 cup
  2. cornflour 1 tablespoon
  3. Rice flour 1 tablespoon
  4. salt 1 teaspoon
  5. Chat masala 1 teaspoon
  6. Red chilli powder 1teaspoon
  7. black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Chopped onion 1 small
  9. capsicum 1 small
  10. coriander chopped
  11. oil for frying


  1. Collect all ingredients
  2. Boil the corn with enough water, salt and sugar for 2 minutes.
  3. Drain the water from corn.
  4. After 10 minutes add cornflour, rice flour and salt in the corn
  5. Cover the corn with the dry flours if required add 1 tsp of water for proper coating.
  6. Heat enough oil in a pan.
  7. Add handful of corn in the hot oil. Stir the corn and cover the pan as the corn may crack while frying.
  8. Remove the fried corn.
  9. Add 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan heat it add chopped onions and capsicum and stir fry for 1 minute.
  10. Add fried corn, red chilli powder, chat masala, black pepper powder and coriander.
  11. Serve hot crispy corn kernels and enjoy.
