Green chutney can be had with anything to make the snack tasty to eat. Such one combination with paneer having in the nugget form is the tastiest. So there's no reason to wait but make it right away. Enjoy it at tea time or make it for kids lunch box or have as an tasty accompaniment.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer/ cottage cheese - 250gms
  2. For the green chutney:
  3. Coriander - 1 small bunch
  4. Pudina / mint leaves - 5
  5. Green chillies - 3
  6. Ginger - 1/2 inch
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Lemon - 1 tsp
  9. Water to grind - few tbsps
  10. For the coating :
  11. Cornflour - 1/4 cup
  12. Maida / apf - 2 tbsp
  13. Water - 1/2 cup
  14. Roasted red chilli flakes - 1 tsp
  15. Bread crumbs - 1 cup
  16. Oil for shallow frying


  1. Cut paneer to nugget size
  2. Grind the green chutney and marinate the paneer nuggets and leave aside for 10 minutes
  3. Heat oil in a shallow pan
  4. Mix the water to the cornflour and maida to make a lump free batter to coat the nuggets
  5. Keep bread crumbs ready to coat add roasted chilli flakes to it and mix
  6. Now Take a paneer nugget piece and coat with the cornflour mixture then with the bread crumbs and shallow fry in hot oil
  7. Turn in between reducing the flame for even frying
  8. Spicy green chutney paneer nuggets ready to snack on with sauce and more green chutney if desired
