Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk - 1 liter
  2. Basmati rice - 1 cup
  3. Sugar - 2 cup
  4. Water - 2 cup
  5. Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  6. All purpose flour - 1 tsp
  7. Baking powder - a pinch
  8. Oil - for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil milk in a heavy bottom vessel.
  2. Once boiled keep it in a low flame.
  3. Add rice and cook till milk become dry.
  4. Now make a tight paste with the help of mixer.
  5. Add all purpose flour and baking powder and mix well.
  6. Heat enough oil in a pan.
  7. Shape the rice balls and deep fry on low flame till golden n crispy.
  8. Keep aside.
  9. In other pan add sugar and water till sugar dissolves.
  10. Keep it medium flame for 8 - 10 mins.
  11. When it gets sticky it means syrup is ready add cardamom powder
  12. Place the fried rice balls in the sugar syrup.
  13. Serve after two hours.
