Ingredients to make Aloo Paratha

  • 2 large sized potato boiled and peeled
  • 1 tsp green chilli
  • 1 tsn ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp lal mirch powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  • Dry mango powder 1/8 tsn
  • For the dough:
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp oil
  • water as required
  • oil as required
  • Onion and tomato Ketchup for serving
  • butter 1 tspn
  • tea optional

How to make Aloo Paratha

  1. In a mixing bowl mash boiled potatoes well.further add rest of the ingredients mentioned in ingredients list and mix well.
  2. In mixing bowl take wheat flour add salt,water and knead the dough for 5 minutes assembling and rolling a Pinch a medium sized ball dough, roll about 5 inches in diameter.
  3. Place the prepared stuffing in the center.take the edge and start pleating bringing to center nd press the pleats from center.
  4. Sprinkle some flour and roll to of a chapati size.
  5. On a hot tava place the rolled paratha and cook both sides.add oil and press slightly.
  6. Finally, serve hot aloo parathas with butter, tomato ketchup,chopped onion nd tea
