This is a very typical coastal recipie. It's quick and yummy recipie. You can serve tbis preparation of Bombay duck with rice or bhakri.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Clean and cut bomaby duck 4 pieces
  2. Achar masala 2 teaspoon
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Red chilly powder 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Lemon juice or tamarind pulp 1 teaspoon
  7. Garlic 3-4 cloves
  8. Asafoetida 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Oil 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take pieces of bombay duck and add all spices and tamarind to it.
  2. Mix well and keep for marination for about 15 minutes
  3. In a vessel, heat oil, add crushed garlic and asafoetida
  4. Add bombay duck pieces
  5. Cover and cook just till the fish is done. It does not take a very long for bombay duck to cook.
  6. It would ooze some water out, which is super yumm to have with rice. Serve in a bowl.
