ABOUT Masala oats bread roll RECIPE

Easy to make healthy snack. Goodness of oats in a bread pocket. Try this recile foe fussy eaters. It would surely lure them.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 brown bread slices
  2. 1 packet masala oats (preferably saffola)
  3. 1 boiled potato
  4. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  5. Few curry leaves
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the masala oats by adding adequate amount of water as directed in the pack
  2. In a pan, add 1 tsp oil and put mustard seeds and curry leaves and let them splutter
  3. Now, add the cooked masala oats and boiled mashed potato in it
  4. Season the above mixture with salt and mix it well
  5. Let the mixture cool
  6. Now, take bread slices and cut the edges and flatten it using rolling pin
  7. Now put the above mixture at one edge of the bread
  8. Roll the bread by applying water on the it's edges
  9. In a grill pan, add 1 tbsp oil and shallow fry the bread rolls
  10. Cook well on both the sides and serve hot with desired chutney or sauce
