Healthy Spinach Bites

Ingredients to make Healthy Spinach Bites

  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 cup blanched spinach puree
  • 1/2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp chilly paste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1/4 tsp hing
  • 2 tsp sprouted moong
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp carom seeds

How to make Healthy Spinach Bites

  1. In a mixing bowl add chickpea flour,spinach puree,salt,chili,ginger,garlic paste,carom seeds,sesame seeds and 1/2 cup water and make semi thick batter like idli
  2. Heat the water in steamer, pour the batter in greasing dish ,sprinkle sprouted moong, cover and cook for 15 min.
  3. Heat the oil in pan,add mustard,sesame seeds, hing and allow to splutter. Pour the seasoning ingredients over dish
  4. Cut in desired shape, Serve warm with ketchup
