ABOUT Kale Pesto Pasta RECIPE

Kale is a leafy green vegetable with a good source of vitamin,protein and fiber. Kale pesto pasta is very nutricious,healthy dish which can be consume as lunch or dinner. It is complete food and very easy to make. Avocado,olive oil,kale leaf, walnut and other ingredients make pesto which is tossed with boiled pasta is pesto pasta. Enjoy this dish when you need a light meal with no time.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 lb pasta any type
  2. For pesto
  3. 3 cups roughly chopped kale
  4. 1 tbsp flesh of avocado
  5. 2 tbsp walnut
  6. 1 tsp lemon juice
  7. 1 tbsp black pepper
  8. 2 tbsp olive oil
  9. 1 tbsp green chili paste
  10. 2 cloves of garlic
  11. 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
  12. 1/3 cup of mozzarella cheese
  13. salt for seasoning


  1. In a big pan , boil 4 cups of water and cook pasta al dente as per package instructions. Drain and keep cooked pasta aside to cool slightly
  2. For making pesto ,add chopped kale,walnut,lemon juice,black pepper powder,olive oil,green chili paste,garlic,salt and parmesan cheese. Blend it until become a smooth green paste.
  3. Add pesto paste,mozzarella cheese and give a toss to mix it very well.
  4. Kale pesto pasta is ready,serve it warm or cool it in freezer and serve cold as pasta salad.
