ABOUT Methi Puri RECIPE

Methi puri is a mouthwatering dish which is perfect to serve at any occasion. It is a recipe of MP cuisine. Which is very famous in the whole worldwide. It is a quick and easy recipe and you can easily prepare restaurant style. Fenugreek puri at your home whether it is a grand party or a normal kitty party, it is a perfect dish to serve and to get the compliment from your guests.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 250gm Methi (fenugreek leaves)
  2. 2 cups whole wheat flour
  3. 1/2 cup rawa
  4. 1 inch ginger
  5. 2 green chili
  6. 1 tbsp salt
  7. 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  8. 1 pinch asafoetida
  9. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash the fenugreek leaves thoroughly with water.
  2. Grind fenugreek leaves, ginger and green chili to form fine paste.
  3. Add ground paste, salt, red chili powder, asafoetida, rawa to the wheat flour in a mixing bowl
  4. Add water as required and knead a stiff dough
  5. Divide the dough into equal lemon sized balls .
  6. Roll into puris
  7. Fry the puris until golden brown.Drain excess oil on the kitchen towel.
  8. Serve hot with curry and raw mango pickles
