ABOUT Chicken Angara RECIPE

A starter that has all the looks and aroma like how its served in restaurants. Mixed with all the spices which are blended with lots of lemon juice gives ur taste buds all that is required to make ur weekend lunch a finger licking good.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken drumsticks/legs 4
  2. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  3. Red chili powder 2 tsp
  4. Bafat powder 2 tsp
  5. Coriander powder 2 tsp
  6. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  7. Pepper powder 1 tsp
  8. Chat masala 2 tsp
  9. Lemon juice of 3 small lemons
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Wheat flour 3 tsp
  12. Water 50 ml


  1. Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Marinate the chicken with the mixture and rest for 30 minutes
  2. Remove the chicken from marination and place it on a plate.
  3. To the residual marination , add some water to form thin gravy consistency, add a tsp of oil and boil it. Once boiled set aside.
  4. In a pan, fry the chicken. The oil level should just reach to the 3/4th level of the chicken. Remove once done
  5. Grill the chicken or with tongs , heat chicken on the fire to get that smokey aroma and taste. Keep it aside
  6. Heat the gravy add flour paste and smoked pieces of chicken. Mix well so that chicken is coated with thick sauce. Serve hot
