ABOUT Spinach Fried Rice RECIPE

Spinach or Palace is very low in fat and even lower in cholesterol. It is high in niacin and zinc, as well as protein, fiber, vitamins A, C, E and K, thiamin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and manganese. By using this rich leafy vegetable in Jai Ki Rasoi Se made "Spinach Fried Rice" served with Masala Dahi and Salad

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cooked Basmati Rice - 250 grams
  2. Spinach Puree (Palak Ka Paste) - 1 Cup
  3. Ginger Garlic Paste (Adrak Lasoon Paste) - 1 Tablespoon
  4. Black Cumin Seeds (Shahi Jeera) - 1 Teaspoon
  5. Slit Green Chilies (Kati Hari Mirch) - 2 to 3
  6. Dry Red Chilies (Sukhi Lal Mirch) - 2 to 3
  7. Cashew Nuts (Kaaju) - 20 to 25
  8. Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder) - 1 Tablespoon
  9. Spoon Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder) - 1 Teaspoon
  10. Whole Spice Powder (Garam Masala) - 1/2 Teaspoon
  11. Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder) - 1/2 Teaspoon
  12. Red Chili Powder (Lal Mirch Powder) - 1 Teaspoon
  13. Cloves (Laung) - 2
  14. Green Cardamom (Hari Elaichi) - 2
  15. Bay Leaves (Tej Patta) - 2
  16. Cinnamon (Dal Chini Patta) - 2 half inch
  17. Lemon Juice (Nimbu Ka Ras) - 1 Tablespoon
  18. Oil - As Per Requirement
  19. Salt (Namak) - According to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in non-stick pan or kadai,
  2. Add black cumin seeds, Cloves, Green Cardamom & bay leaves. Saute for 1-2 minutes
  3. Add slit green chilies and dry red chilies. Cook for 2 minutes
  4. Now add ginger garlic paste and cook till raw aroma disappears
  5. Add all dry ingredients like coriander​, cumin, red chili, turmeric and whole spice powder. Mix well and cook till oil separates. Add cashew nuts and saute till light​ brown
  6. Add spinach puree and mix well. Cook until oil separates
  7. Finally add the cooked rice, lemon juice and season it with salt according to the taste. Mix all and cook for 2 minutes
  8. Serve hot with masala dahi and salad
