ABOUT Spinach Dalia Idli RECIPE

Dalia is the best food option for those who have problems of high blood pressure with high cholesterol and diabetes.  When it comes to leafy greens, just one cup of spinach contains 6 percent of your daily value of magnesium, a mineral that can help regulate your blood sugar. When both are in one dish and convert into Children favourite Idli, it's become very power pack dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Dalia
  2. 1 cup Chopped spinach
  3. 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  4. Salt as per taste


  1. Soak Dalia for 20 minutes. Drain excess water. Keep it aside
  2. Blanch Spinach leaves
  3. Grind spinach to smooth puree
  4. In a bowl, add Dalia, Spinach puree , salt, Black pepper powder and mix well
  5. Grease Idli moulds and pour the mixture in each cavity
  6. Steam idli for 10 minutes
  7. Allow to cook for 5 minutes. Demould
  8. Serve healthy Idli
