Spinach Bread Samosa

Ingredients to make Spinach Bread Samosa

  • For covering
  • Fresh bread crumbs 3 cup
  • spinach puree 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • For filling
  • boiled mashed potatoes 1 cup
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • onion finely chopped 1/4 cup
  • Green peas , boiled - 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • red chili powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • jeera 1/2 tsp
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • oil for frying

How to make Spinach Bread Samosa

  1. Add bread crumbs , spinach puree and salt in a bowl
  2. Knead smooth dough , add little water if needed. Rest dough aside for 20 minutes
  3. Heat oil in a pan, splutter cumin seeds
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw aroma disappears
  5. Add onion and saute until light brown
  6. Add salt , red chili powder, turmeric powder,garam masala and mix well
  7. Add green peas and boiled potato. Mix well and cook for a min. Switch off
  8. Now take small portion of dough and roll into roti. Cut it in to two equal parts and fold like a cone
  9. Add filling , brush water to sides and seal completely
  10. Drop samosas in hot oil and deep fry until golden brown and crisp
  11. Serve hot samosa with chutney or sauce
