ABOUT Sweet potato kofta in spicy gravy RECIPE

Sweetness of sweet potato and spicy whole masala makes this vegetable very tasty and delicious. With parantha,naan or phulka it goes very well.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup sweet potato
  2. 1 tsp ginger
  3. 1 tbsp cornflour
  4. Salt
  5. Haldi
  6. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  7. For gravy---
  8. 4 cloves
  9. 8 whole peppercorns
  10. Cinemon stick
  11. 1 bay leaf
  12. 4 cardmon
  13. 1 tsp jeera
  14. Pinch of hing
  15. 4 garlic cloves
  16. 1 chopped onion
  17. 1 tomato
  18. 2 green chilli
  19. 1 tsp ginger
  20. 1 /2 cup curd
  21. Lemon juice
  22. 1 tsp garam masala
  23. 1 ts jeera powder
  24. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Mash boiled sweet potato
  2. Add cornflour,spice and salt
  3. Mix them
  4. Make koftas and fry them
  5. For gravy---
  6. Take a pan ,heat it
  7. Add whole masala and roast them.
  8. Let them cool
  9. Them make powder
  10. Now heat oil and add hing and jeera
  11. Add garlic and roast
  12. Then add onion and saute
  13. Make puree of tomato
  14. And add in onion
  15. Add green chilli and ginger
  16. Then add whole masala powder
  17. Saute all of them
  18. Cook it.
  19. Take curd and add all spice except garam masala
  20. And add in onion tomato masala
  21. Cook it till it leaves oil
  22. Then add one cup water
  23. Cook it for 5 min.
  24. Add garam masala and lemon juice
  25. When it began to thick add koftas
  26. Cook for 5 min. And our delicious vegetable is ready.
  27. Garnish with coriander leaves
