Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. For kofta- homemade paneer 200gm.
  2. Boiled potato 150 gm.
  3. Salt 1/4sp
  4. Black pepper 1/2tsp
  5. Oil for frying as required
  6. For gravy- onion 2-3 large n chop
  7. Gatlic 5-7pod
  8. Ginger 1"
  9. Green chilli 3-4
  10. Cashewnut 15-17
  11. Poppy seed 2sp
  12. Melon seed 1tbsp
  13. Oil 2-3tbsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Sugar 1/2sp.
  16. Green cardamom 2 crushed
  17. Garam masala less then 1/2sp
  18. Kasoori methi 1sp.
  19. Fresh Cream 1/2cup
  20. Milk 1-1/2cup( for gravy)
  21. For crackling ghee 1tbsp
  22. Kasoori methi 1/2sp
  23. Choronji 1sp


  1. Add paneer n boiled mashed potatoes in a mixing bowl. Add 2-3tbsp cornflour , salt n pepper powder mix well n make smooth dough.
  2. Now make a small size balls and dust with some cornflour roll out all balls on cornflour.
  3. Take a kadhai on flame add oil and fry all koftas on medium hot oil untill they turn golden colour.
  4. Other side on stove we prepare gravy so take a cooker add chop onion , chilli, garlic, ginger, cashewnut, melon seed and poppy seed add little water cover with lid and cook about 1 whistle.
  5. When onion mixture get little cool make fine paste in grinder.
  6. Hot the oil in other pan add crushed cardamom and slit chilli.saute it.
  7. Now add boiled onion paste and cook few min.
  8. Add cream cook few min.add salt and sugar cook it. Add masoori methi.
  9. Now add milk for gravy as required and cook well lastly add garam masala switch off the flame .
  10. Put the all kofta in hot gravy .don't over mix .
  11. Now put tadka pan on flame add ghee now add choronji and masoori methi put this tadka on gravy.
