Ingredients to make Malai kofta in spinach gravy

  • potatoes 3 medium sized boiled and mashed
  • paneer 200 gms grated
  • ginger 1 grated
  • pepper powder 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • cornflour 1 tbsp
  • For spinach Gravy
  • 1 bunch spinach blanched and pureed
  • cashew 15
  • Green chilies 4
  • Garkic chopped 1 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turneric a pinch
  • coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • FRESH cream 2 TBSP

How to make Malai kofta in spinach gravy

  1. In a bowl mix mashed potatoes,grated paneer, grated ginger, pepper powder, salt and corn flour.
  2. Grease ur palm and make balls of the mixure. Make a small well and add raisin in it . Close the balls again
  3. Roll in on maida
  4. Deep fry till golden from both sides. Keep aside
  5. For gravy. Make a smooth paste of pureed spinach, cashew and green chillies
  6. In a pan heat oil, add cumin seeds ; ginger garlic paste and chopped garlic. Saute well
  7. Add 2 tsp water and mix
  8. Add turmeric and coriander powder. Fry well
  9. Add in the spinach paste salt and sugar. Cook for 5 to.8 min
  10. Add in garam masla. Cook for 3 min more.
  11. Add the cream n mix well. Cook for 5 min.
  12. In a serving plate. Remove the gravy. Place the koftas on the top. Garnish with cream
