Murgh Kali Miri

Ingredients to make Murgh Kali Miri

  • 1 kg chicken
  • 3 pieces lemons juice
  • 2 tbsn black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsn ginger paste
  • 1 tbsn gaarlic paste
  • 5-6 green chillies
  • 2 tbsn butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tbsn ghee
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 small cinnimon stick
  • 1 tsp khadi black pepper
  • 1 cup curd
  • salt according to taste

How to make Murgh Kali Miri

  1. Wash chicken 4 to 5 times. Now add curd,ginger garlic paste, 1/2 of mentioned quantity of black pepper power, salt to taste, 1 1/2 lemon's juice in the chicken and mix them well. And give the reste of 10 minutes.
  2. Now put a pan on flame, add 4 tbsn ghee in it. When it turns completely hot add bay leaves, cinnamon stick and black pepper.letthem roast.
  3. When sabut masala roasted add marinated chicken in the shape of layer in it. Let the chicken cook.
  4. Cover the pan with lid. Turn the flame medium . Let chicken cook in its own juice.
  5. After 5 minutes off the lid and add remaining left black pepper, give a long cut in green chillies and add then in the pan. Change the sides of chicken. Cover pan with lid upto 10 minutes.
  6. After 10 minutes you will see chicken is almost done. Now off the lid and turn flame on high and let the excess water dissolved
  7. Add another 1 1/2 lemon's juice and mix them well.
  8. .You will see your Murgh kalindi is ready to serve.
  9. Serve it hot..

My Tip:

You can use ginger juliens if you want.
