ABOUT Pineapple Doughnut with saffron Rabdi RECIPE

Its really a very different yet yummy doughnut made with combination of fruits and rabdi. Do try it and enjoy different flavours in one dish. It will definitely attract to kids and can be show stopper in any party.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Dry Pineapple slices 3
  2. Milk 2 cups
  3. Saffron strands 10-12
  4. Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  5. Sugar according to taste
  6. Pomegranate kernels 1/2 cup
  7. Apple with skin chopped in small pieces 1/2cup
  8. chocolate syrup 1 tablespoon
  9. Sprinklers 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. First take 1 tablespoon of warm milk and soak saffron strands in it. Keep aside.
  2. Take a heavy Bottom pan and boil milk. When milk starts boiling , simmer the flame .
  3. Let milk simmer till it thickens and reduced into half .keep stirring.
  4. It should be like rabdi. It will take around 40 minutes.
  5. Add saffron milk now and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Switch off the flame and let it cool completely. After cooling add vanilla essence.
  7. Now take pineapple slices and cover with cool rabdi all over.
  8. Now garnish with pomegranate kernels and apple pieces. Keep ready slices in refrigerator to set for an hour.
  9. While serving garnish with sprinklers and chocolate syrup.
  10. Yummy, healthy and colourful doughnuts are ready to relish.
