Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1kg boneless chicken breast cubed
  2. 1 bowl water
  3. salt to taste
  4. 6-8 DRIED RED CHILLIES
  5. 1 teasp SICHUAN PEPPER
  6. oil for deep frying
  7. 1tbsp oil for gravy
  8. 1tbsp chopped garlic
  9. 1tbsp lime juice
  10. 1 egg beaten
  11. 1/2 cup cornflour
  12. 1/2 cup maida
  13. 3tbsp tomato ketchup
  14. 1tbsp cornflour mixed with 4tbsp water
  15. 1/2 cup chopped onion leaves
  16. 1 green capsicum cubed
  17. roasted seasme for garnishing
  18. 1 onion chopped
  19. 1 teasp vinigar
  20. 1tbsp ginger garlic paste
  21. 1tbsp soya sauce

Instructions

  1. Keep the chicken pieces in a bowl of water with salt and keep in refrigerator for minimum 2 hours.
  2. Dry the chicken pieces with cloth and marinate with lime juice,1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat up oil in a kadhai.
  4. Mix the egg,cornflour,maida with chicken pieces.Add a little water if needed.
  5. Arrange chicken pieces and capsicum on wooden skewers.
  6. Deep fry the chicken pieces with skewers in kadhai.
  7. In a wok heat up 1 tbsp oil.
  8. Fry the onion until translucent.
  9. Add 2 dried RED CHILLIES and chopped garlic.Saute well.
  10. Now add tomato ketchup.Cook well.
  11. Make a fine paste with 4-6 soaked dried red chillies.
  12. Add this paste into wok.Mix well.
  13. Add SICHUAN PEPPER and onion leaves.Toss well.
  14. Add soya sauce and vinigar.
  15. Pour 1/2 cup water.Cook well.
  16. Now pour the slurry of cornflour and water.
  17. Arrange the skewers in shot glasses.
  18. Pour thicken gravy from top.
  19. Garnish with roasted seasme.
  20. Serve hot.
