Healthy nutritious kanji for pregnant ladies and elderly people.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Green gram 1/4 cup
  2. Brown rice 1/2 cup
  3. Jaggery ( as per requirement)
  4. Grated Coconut 1/4 cup
  5. Badam 2 numbers

Instructions

  1. Soak green gram in water for about 4 to 5 hours.
  2. In a pressure cooker add soaked green gram and brown rice.
  3. Add adequate water for both green gram and rice to cook. Pressure cook for 3 vessels.
  4. Once done add jaggery powder, grated coconut. Mix well until all ingredients are well combined
  5. Garnish with badam and serve hot.
